Annual Fundraising Bar-B-Q Supper Sponsors

On Friday, June 5th, dine inside the Community House or take your meal to Hancock Park to the First Friday Music Concert. Bar-B-Q sandwiches are supplied by Hickory Prime. Meal includes generously heaped pulled pork sandwich, cole slaw, baked beans, chips, drink, and dessert. Proceeds from this event will provide college and tech school scholarships, children's music programs, and the Lumpkin Library. DWC Awards Scholarships to graduating Lumpkin County students who are planning to attend UNG or Lanier Tech. The scholarships are awarded in April. Applications are available online for homeschooled students.

DWC awards scholarships for women in need to pursue or complete their educational journey, allowing them to have the education they need to better support their families. Applications are accepted for students studying at UNG or Lanier Tech.
